SUPER-CURRICULUM

Super-curricular activities are designed to expand on the learning you do in the classroom and for homework. They take the subjects you study in school and allow you to explore aspects of science you might not otherwise experience.

For example, you may delve deeper into something you picked up in the classroom or learn about a new topic altogether.

These activities could take the form of extra reading, watching videos online, downloading podcasts, attending lectures, or visiting museums.

Engaging in super-curricular activities will help you discover more about the science subjects you enjoy.

This worksheet contains a range of activities suggested by your teachers. They are by no means exhaustive but should get you started. We would encourage you to share ideas and opportunities you come across with your teachers so that over time, the recommended activities on this worksheet can grow.

In the future, employers or universities will be interested to hear about what super-curricular activities you have engaged in. They will be interested in what you have learned and impressed by your efforts.

We wish you well in your pursuit of super-curricular activities!
