Registration for online self-paced courses is open. Participants should register in KickUp and may pace themselves through the course. Courses open September 1, 2021 and must be completed by November 19, 2021 in order to receive credit.

Getting Started with Google Docs

This self-guided course will teach you all you need to know to get started with Google Docs, from Logging in to creating presentations. It will be structured so that all users can engage in the content, even those without students.

Workshop Model: Leveraging Technology to Enhance Independent Practice

Explore the tools, complete activities, and participate in the discussions. The follow up session will give you an opportunity to interact in a virtual small group to discuss how you can apply what you have learned in your classroom, share learning from the Canvas course with other teachers, troubleshoot specific concerns or questions you might have, and learn additional tips and tricks.

Personalize Learning Through Blended Opportunities

This self-paced course will support you as you consider various ways to leverage tools and resources to make learning experiences more engaging and personal for you and your students. Virtual support is provided as needed to support you as you begin to design and create experiences of your own.

Dual Modality Instruction

The purpose of this module is to provide support in the best practices for teaching using the dual modalities model for educators in need of ideas. The module will review course design using our Canvas LMS as well as key tools/resources that can be implemented to deliver online instruction all while using a workshop structure. This module provides extensive support for teachers who are ‘new-ish’ to designing online course content.
