What is the CSS Profile?
The CSS Profile (sometimes just called the Profile) is a financial aid application that some private colleges and universities require. Typically, this application is necessary for the top-tier private colleges alongside some popular colleges in New York state. If none of the colleges on your list require it, you will not have to complete this application.
This application is the longest of the three major financial aid applications, and it usually takes about an hour to complete.
