Artist-In-Residence Program

It is not easy,

being the Adult Disabled Child of an Army Officer,

who earned in his career,

100 times, more or less,

what I earned in mine.

Mine ended at age 26.

His continued until age 70.

They *insisted* on paying him...and to tell truth, it killed him.

He lived to work.

"Nuff said.

I actually earned retirement and medical at 19,

but couldn't prove it.

"Nuff said pending litigation.

Starved on benefits from 1981 until 1998 or so.

It got better for me as an orphan paradoxically but I did have to grieve 10 years.

So now I have a Voucher Mom and Dad encouraged me wisely to apply for in *1983*.

The year they asked me "Move on. Move out. Try something."

I am doing OK.

I am a Figure Model now, a Guild Model, but the Guild is in disarray--the Proctor...morte.

I seek an Artist in Residence, and also, it isn't fair to just hog this benefit, this...Voucher.

It seems reasonable, at this Age, not to be alone, and to share the benefit.

The County favors the idea; they *like* multi-person household-they, such households, are more *efficient*.

And I am *all* about efficiency.

"Two can live for less than one each."
