Coach Sirois is the head baseball coach at Valley Regional High School. A Cromwell High School alumnus, he was a standout outfielder and continued his playing career at both Eastern Connecticut State and Central Connecticut State University, where he developed a deep understanding of the game. With three years of high school coaching experience, he is now entering his second season leading the VRHS team. Known for his dedication, passion for player development, and commitment to building a winning culture, Coach Sirois is excited to help his players reach their full potential on and off the field. Coach Sirois also serves as Valley's assistant girl's basketball coach and previously coached at Cromwell High. We look forward to another year of Coach Sirois' knowledge of both sports. 

Coach Amendola is entering his second year as an assistant baseball coach at Valley Regional High School and his fourth year coaching overall. A dedicated social studies teacher at VRHS, he brings both his passion for education and his love for sports to the field. After graduating from the University of Connecticut in 2021, he coached at Putnam High School for two seasons before joining the Valley coaching staff. He also coaches an American Legion baseball team during the summer, helping players elevate their skills in a competitive environment. In addition to his baseball coaching roles, Coach Amendola serves as the head coach of the JWMS girls' soccer team, showcasing his commitment to developing well-rounded student-athletes across multiple sports. Known for his strong work ethic, approachability, and dedication to his players' growth, Coach Amendola is a valued member of the VRHS coaching community.

Coach Hanssen is in his second year as an assistant baseball coach at Valley Regional High School, bringing with him over two decades of coaching experience and a lifelong passion for the game. A standout pitcher at Fitch High School, he graduated holding the school record for career wins in the ECC. He went on to pitch at the collegiate level for four seasons as a member of the varsity staff at Southern Connecticut State University. Following his playing career, Coach Hanssen began coaching at his alma mater before taking on a long-standing role at Westbrook High School, where he led the varsity baseball program for 18 of his 20 years with the school. In addition to his baseball background, he is also the head coach of the Boys Varsity Soccer team at Westbrook, exemplifying his commitment to student-athlete development across sports. Coach Hanssen is known for his leadership, deep knowledge of the game, and dedication to fostering growth both on and off the field.
