Dr. Mike's Creeks Lead Educator
Dr. Mike holds a PHD in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of Alabama. He has taught at the elementary, middle, high school, and college levels, been a camp counselor, and conducted numerous sessions for scouts and civic groups.
Dr. Mike provides hands-on Environmental Science education classes, both in the field and in the classroom, to students and teachers, campers and counselors, and youth and civic groups.
Since 1996 he has brought his Critter Class™ into the classroom of over 600 students and taken over 350 students on Creek Crawls™ and canoe trips along the Haw River and its tributaries.
