The Creators of TK to Literacy

In the third year of our Bachelor of Education program, we were asked to create a Genius Hour project.  We came together with a vision to develop a teacher resource that would help support and further enhance the literature used within the classroom. We wanted teachers, new and veteran, to have the opportunity to search for books that were legitimately reviewed and rated by real teachers located in Alberta. We believe that TK to Literacy will be a wonderful asset not only for ourselves as pre-service teachers but also for other educators who are hoping to explore various texts with their students.
