"The Koala Who Could is the perfect book for almost all children but especially for those who struggle to try new things and/or find themselves 'stuck' sometimes. Added bonus - it rhymes and is fun to listen to."
- Christie Schipper, Speech Language Pathologist Pre K-12
"Kids love this book even though it is a bit outdated and cheesy in my opinion. It is simple and easy for them to read along with and you can easily read it within a week. The reason I love this book is that it is a simple read at the beginning of the year to make them feel successful with a novel and to discuss novel features such as chapters, characters and plot. It also hooks them into a simple series with more books to explore on their own. I do a year-long journaling/photo project where kids make their own Stanley’s that they take on adventures. At the end of the year we put the photos and journaling into a presentation that they share with their class and we map all the locations that Stanley visited that year to tie into social."

"My students loved guessing the rhymes on each page. I would give this book 5 stars. I like this book because it is a playful way to practice rhyming. I also love to pair this with a lesson where a rhyme crime occurs in the classroom, items have been replaced with things that rhyme with them. I have even gone so far as to replace an EA with something that rhymes with their name and the students then hunt for the missing EA."
