***New IPEVO iDocCam app available for free through April 30, 2020***
Turn your smartphone into a document camera with the new iDocCam app-
Introducing IPEVO iDocCam — an app that turns your smartphone into a document camera instantly. You can use it as a visual communication tool to enhance learning, collaboration, and more. Let’s take a look at the different ways to use it.
-Using it as a standalone app
The most basic way to use iDocCam is to use it as a standalone app on your smartphone. With it, you can view the live images shown through your phone’s camera and adjust some image settings such as exposure, white balance, and focus.
-Using it with IPEVO Visualizer software
When iDocCam is used in conjunction with IPEVO Visualizer software, you can instantly turn your smartphone into a wireless document camera. Follow the steps below to do so:
Install iDocCam on your smartphone.
Grab another device and install IPEVO Visualizer on it. You can use a Mac, PC, Chromebook, iOS/Android devices, or 4th generation and above version of Apple TV.*
Connect your smartphone and the device to the same wireless network.
Launch iDocCam and Visualizer, respectively.
Choose your smartphone as the camera source in Visualizer.
*For Android phone users, you can only use iDocCam with the Mac, PC, iOS, or Android version of IPEVO Visualizer.
-You’ll be able to view the live images of your phone’s camera in Visualizer, turning your smartphone into a document camera instantly for showing physical materials or documents! And if you connect your device to a projector, the live images will be projected onto a large screen. Aside from controlling and adjusting the live images using Visualizer, you can also utilize the available features in Visualizer to take snapshots, record videos, set up live broadcasts, and so on.
Students and families can both enjoy 20 minutes of guilt-free screen time knowing they will be taught by the best in a completely safe environment. You don’t even need to have an Epic account to watch.
