Welcome to the RCS “Work from Home” website. The purpose of this website is to provide access to resources and information related to your child’s classes. The resources are meant to be a review of skills already taught and provide children with continued exposure to prevent regression of current skill levels. I hope everyone is adjusting well to being home - kids and parents!
As your child’s special education co-teacher, I will be collaborating with the regular education teachers to develop and provide activities and resources for your child. Please check the grade level folder for weekly activities.
I will be contacting you daily to check to see how things are going and to see if you need anything. I will also be checking my email frequently throughout each school day. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time and/or have your child email me to let me know how they are doing. I would love to hear from him/her.
Thank you for all of your support!

Families,
Please explore either the 2nd grade co-taught or 3rd grade co-taught folder for supplemental work to address your child’s special education needs. Tasks are based on individual education plan (IEP) goals and may or may not be appropriate for all students. Co-taught students can also utilize the majority of the grade level work being provided in the grade level folders. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to email me or use Class Dojo to send me a message.
I hope you are all well and stay healthy!

Hello Parents,
As you know, I co-teach fourth grade ELA and Math with Mrs. Maroney and Mrs. Sollien. I also provide Resource Room services for individual students in grades 2, 3, and 4.
All materials I have gathered for my students are separated by subject, as you can see on the webpage. The materials provided are aligned with students' IEP goals, so not all activities are appropriate for all students. I have reached out to all of you to discuss what materials your child should be completing. I will continue to add to the folders, and give you specific instructions on what your child should be completing.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to send me a Dojo message, or email me at aslater@rcscsd.org. Please tell your children I miss their faces, and I hope to see them all again, soon. Until then, take care!
Sincerely,
Allison Slater
