Wheelers ePlatform

At Rāwhiti School, we have a subscription to the Wheelers ePlatform. Students and teachers can use the Library Web App to search for eBooks and Audiobooks or go directly to the Wheelers ePlatform.

We use our school's 'single sign-on,' so it's simple for students and staff to find and enjoy the vast digital collection. Students and teachers use their library borrower number and password to login to both the Library Web App and Wheelers ePlatform.

Once in the ePlatform, you can preview and borrow various eBooks and Audiobooks. Depending on age, certain books will be unavailable for younger borrowers. Staff and students can borrow up to two books for two weeks.

Wheelers Immersive Reader allows a reader to simultaneously read a digital book while listening to the audio content.  This is an ideal reading experience for students who may find traditional reading difficult. The visual and auditory input can provide reinforcement of the content.

Experiencing a tex this way can create a deeper connection and understanding of the narrative or content, making the experience both enjoyable and educational.
