Mote @ Rāwhiti School
Mote for Education
At Rāwhiti School we pay a subscription for both students and teachers to access Mote. We have the Chrome extension enabled for both staff and students and the Mote app on studios with 1:1 iPads.
Why use Mote?
Mote allows teachers to provide personalised feedback to students using voice recordings, which can be more engaging and effective than written comments. This helps students to better understand the feedback and make necessary improvements.
Mote promotes student-teacher communication by enabling students to ask questions or seek clarification through voice messages. This fosters a supportive learning environment and encourages active participation.
Mote saves teachers valuable time by allowing them to provide feedback more efficiently. Instead of spending hours typing comments, they can simply record their thoughts, which increases productivity and enables more timely feedback.
Mote enhances accessibility for students with diverse needs. Its voice recording feature assists those with reading difficulties or language barriers, ensuring they receive equitable support.
Overall, Mote empowers teachers to deliver personalised feedback, promotes communication, saves time, and improves accessibility, thereby enhancing the learning experience for their students.
