Standard 4: Demonstrates professionalism through ethical conduct, reflection and leadership
ELEMENT B: Teachers link professional growth to their professional goals.
My practicum teacher is absolutely amazing at allowing students the opportunity to better both their professional growth and professional goals. Linking both Standard 4 and Element B. My practicum teacher (Missy Wolf), always informs and tells students about job opportunities, scholarships to apply for, how to build a resume, and access to outside of school activities that help better students after graduating. By doing this students are allowing growth in every aspect of their life, not just school.

ELEMENT D: Teachers demonstrate leadership in the school, the community, and the teaching profession.
Connecting both Standard 4 and Element B teachers show leadership in the school by allowing change and opportunities for those in need. One example of this is each homework class is given as “Adopt A Family”, this is when a finally is picked out for a homeroom class and both the teachers and students are given a sheet describing what this family in need needs to survive. This can be like clothes, food, supplies, gift cards, etc. by the school. Doing this not only is a great learning experience for both students and facility but also a kind giving thing to do for our society.
