How did the experience in EDUC 450 impact you professionally and personally? How will you take these learnings with you moving forward into student teaching?
For Education 450 I was placed at Rocky Mountain High School. This experience helped guide and show me what it means to have a community based school and how to create that experience. Rocky Mountain High School is very involved with their students and supplying adequate support for each student's success in education and their personal lives. I was shown that not only can a school be about education but also school can be a family and a place of comfort and growth. I hope to use this experience in the future by bringing these qualities of community and family into a school as well as supporting students with equal access to education.
