RJR is a youth sports organization that relies of adult volunteers. It's an unspoken rule that each youth have an adult willing to contribute their time to help RJR achieve its mission.
Board of Directors: RJR elects board members every other year, and may otherwise have vacancies. These are critical roles with ongoing responsibility to ensure the organization is meeting our obligations and creating a program which supports our youth skaters.
Board Chair / President (Public/Oversight)
Program & Training Director / Senior Vice President (Program)
Member & Volunteer Coordinator / Vice President (People)
Finance Director / Treasurer (Financials)

General Board: The RJR Board of Directors may choose to have elected positions, serving one year terms.
Such positions may include an Inter-League Coordinator (ILC), Social Media Manager, or Fundraising.
Committees - Chairs and Volunteers: Committees serve under a Director, and carry out the day to day functioning of RJR. Some committees are ongoing, some are short term.
More information on specific committees will be listed here.
Non-Skating Officials (NSO): To hold a derby bout, a minimum of 9 NSOs (2 Scorekeepers, 2 Penalty & L:ineup Trackers, 3 running the Penalty Box, a Jam Timer, and a Scoreboard operator. Most bouts also need help with track repair and an announcer.
Referees: If you know how to skate (or willing to learn) and become versed in the rules, you can referee bouts. Refs are always in demand!
Coach: We can always use more coaches on the track! Coaches not only teach derby, but also lead basic skating lessons. More coaches alows the organization to have more focus on each skater working on their next skill.
