Fundraising

RJR Fundraising Goals and Committees

The RJR Board of Directors is working on streamlining our fundraising efforts in order to offset the costs of bout production, rink rental for practices and bouts, as well as travel/lodging costs for coaches and skaters.

RJR League Fundraising Activities:

Skater/Parent-Sponsored  Fundraising Activities

Funds earned by Skaters/Families to use at their discretion for sports-related travel/lodging/food

Note: The RJR League name and tax ID number are not permitted to be associated with fundraising of this type

Go Fund Me pages for individual skaters/families (considered a personal gift and not taxable up to $14,000/yr)

RJR League “Pass Through” Fundraisers for Individual Skaters/Parents

League organized fundraising events in which individual skaters/families work in order to earn funds for travel/lodging (the league receives payment, which is then held and dispersed to skater/parent for them to spend on their own travel/lodging related to RJR activities). The league will no longer be focusing on fundraising for the individual, but on the occasion these fundraisers may still occur.

Note: The RJR tax ID number is not permitted to be associated with fundraising of this type

Craft sales (the skater that makes/sells the crafts earn the funds)

Lollipop sales (selling candy outside of Sams Club or 5 below)
