1. READ STORY

For this assignment, you will read a fictional story written from the point of view of a man with intellectual disabilities, Flowers for Algernon. You can read the novel, find an audio version, or read the short story online

After reading, illustrate an understanding of the plot of the story in one of the following ways:

• Create and upload a graphic organizer

• Create a comic using Make Beliefs Comix or similar tool and upload or submit link

• Create a Blabberize video and upload or submit link

• Create a Plot Diagram using this interactive tool

Your submission should reflect an understanding of the story, and should be concise. Do NOT retell the story. Create a visual or creative representation that shows you completed the reading.

2. PODCASTS

For this option, you can choose any 5 PRACTICAL ACCESS podcasts (10-15 mins each) to listen to for 10 pts each). You will submit only a couple of sentences to indicate you listened. You can submit 1 to 5 submissions for up to 50 points. You may NOT use podcasts previously submitted for the assignment.
