On this page, you will find: weekly plans, slides and quizzes for the children to complete. This will ensure children are still learning during this difficult time. Weekly Plans - Please look at these for the outline of daily activities to be completed. All resources needed will be below and split into subjects.
reading quiz
This can also be found on the slides, but for quick access the quiz has been put here too.
Every week, a new reading quiz will be here. It is an interactive way to develop comprehension skills. They are created by us and link to our VIPERS and how we would discuss a text in school.
Just a a few things to remember:
- Complete the quiz once.
- There is no need to send pictures of the quiz score, as the results are submitted to us.
- If it is a written answer, ensure the words are spelt correctly. No full stops are needed at the end of an answer.
Common Exception Words
Year 2 Common Exception Words
These are words that the children must be able to read, write and spell by the end Year 2.
Use the flash cards to practise these words, or get your child to make their own. Keep practising these words. The more you practise, the more you'll remember.
