Absences
Absences
Please report all absences to the school front office as soon as you are able.
When your student is absent an ISP (Independent Study Plan) is issued automatically. ISP's help the school to recovers some of the money that we would receive from your student being at school. Since we are a charter, we rely on this attendance money for the following items and more:
Employee Salaries and benefits
Rent of our buildings and paying bills
Technology - replacing Chromebooks
Classroom budgets
Art Docent Supplies
The ISP packet is available for you to print in PowerSchool under the student reports tab. (This is also where you would locate report cards.)
Your student is still responsible for the classwork for the day even though they are absent.
When a student has completed the work, you will print the packet, initial the subjects that the student completed work for on the indicated day, and sign and date below the week, as shown in the picture below.
