Qridi is operated by means of classes. Classes can be regarded as workspaces where various Qridi functionalities can be used with the learners selected to the class.
Adding, editing and removing classes
Qridi is operated by means of classes. Class refers to a period of teaching for a certain group of learners, and its duration can vary from a single lesson to an entire school year. One or more subjects are taught in this period. You can add one or more classes as necessary.
You can add, edit and view classes in the Classes view in the upper section of the website.
Examples of naming and arranging classes:
Class 5A (Lessons arranged by the class teacher for their own class)
Mathematics 8C (Lessons arranged by the mathematics teacher for class 8C)
MLP Project (Multidisciplinary Learning Package for classes 2A, 3B and 6C. Several teachers in charge of teaching.)
Note! Please do not delete the class at the end of a school year/period. Removed classes cannot be restored. Qridi automatically filters expired classes into the ‘Menneet’ section. You can still view the content and copy materials to new classes.
Adding a new class
Classes can be created by clicking on the + icon that is found on the pop-up that appears by clicking on the 'Classes' icon on the left side of the screen.
First, you can define the name and validity period of the new class, and you can share the class and rights to access its materials to other teachers, if necessary.
You can select entire groups of learners or individual learners as the participants of the class.
Learners can also be divided into groups within the class. You can create any amount of groups and name them as you please.
Finally, you can define the rights to view the accumulated class evaluation data for different parties.

Editing

You can create learner groups with 'Edit Learner Groups' and edit the members of the class with 'Add/Remove Learners'.
Removing a class
You can remove a class by clicking on the Recycle Bin icon next to the name of the class in the classes view.
Please note that if you remove a class, you will not be able to view the content or edit them. If you would like to keep the accumulated materials and data, edit the validity period of the class and set an appropriate end date. This ensures that the class is moved to the ‘History’ tab.
Active I Future I History
Classes are divided into active and future classes and class history based on their periods of validity.
The content of active classes is currently visible and available to the teacher and learners.
The content of future classes is not visible to learners. The teacher can edit and view them.
The validity period of classes in the class history has ended. Learners cannot view the content created in them anymore. The teacher can view and edit classes in the class history.
