These positions work within the Upper School, but also work in 7-12 committees chaired by the relevant Prefect and staff member.
Appointed each year as Upper School Leaders and working with the Heads and Deputy Heads of School as representatives of the student body, Upper School Leaders contribute to school decision-making and implementation of student initiatives. They work closely with the School Prefects, organising activities within Upper School. This role will involve co-ordinating term assemblies and attending Upper School Leaders meetings weekly at lunch time. Upper School Leaders will also be a part of the SRC.

The House Leaders have responsibility with contributing to, and assisting with the House program within the College. They will meet regularly with the House Prefects and Co-ordinator of Houses to plan events and to provide feedback on the various activities that students participate in across the year. The Intercultural Leaders Responsible for building and promoting cultural fluency and social intelligence with the College community to give students a voice in their ideas for intercultural activities; being advocates for fellow students; working with teachers, staff and other prefects on Social Intelligence initiatives.

The Wellbeing Leader will be responsible for building and promoting wellbeing within their sub-school and across the College community. Working in collaboration with the Wellbeing Prefect and staff, they will provide feedback and advice on Compass Time and the Directions program. They will conduct surveys to determine the needs of their peers and run sub-school based wellbeing initiatives to improve student wellbeing.

The Student Communication Leaders works closely with the Student Communication Prefect to build a strong team to help promote and drive effective and engaging communications across the College. The team will work together to build and promote the student voice in communications within the College community. Chapel Leaders work with the Chaplains, staff and students to help improve Christian worship at Pymble and support the smooth running of the chapel services for the duration of the year. They also help co-ordinate Music staff, student musicians and singers.

Year 9 leaders are appointed in Term 4 to act as Peer Support leaders to Year 7 students the following year. Peer Support is a valuable support to the PC system of our school. It is a program that orientates new Year 7 girls to Pymble, enables them to build connections with the wider school community and allows discussion of lots of issues that students have in common. A full training day is provided in Term 4.

A Buddy helps new students have a welcoming and positive experience from the very beginning of their time at Pymble. This role is essential in helping our new students settle in as quickly as possible.
