Effective communication networks are key to establishing and maintaining strong relationships with families and community networks. Our Boarders’ Editorial Team (BET) works closely with the College’s Assistant Editor, to produce the quarterly publication, Keeping Up With Our Boarders. Through this publication, the team provide student voice, celebrate achievements and maintain the strong ties that hold Boarding together as a family. Furthermore, the BET plays a significant role in sharing the stories of Pymble Boarding and promoting Pymble to the wider community.

For Year 7 it is a year of firsts – the first time away from home, the first time in Secondary School and perhaps, their first mobile phone. Our ‘Big Sisters’ have an important role in supporting and encouraging these girls as they negotiate their new life as a Boarder. They demonstrate empathy and act as friends and mentors, helping to make the transition to Boarding as smooth as possible.
