Start with the Big Stuff. Unfortunately, successfully revising an essay does not entail changing a couple of commas and fixing one or two spelling mistakes. After you’ve written your first draft, think radically about how you can improve your essay. This may involve rewriting part or all of that draft.
Finish with the Details. Proofread your essay. This is quite different than step two above. Proofreading is the work you do as you pay attention to punctuation, grammar, and mechanics. Also make sure you review the five (5) guidelines for MLA Document formatting. This was first discussed in Unit 3.
Writing Assignment

TURN IT IN
You are almost done!!
After you turn in this assignment, there might be a few notes from your instructor that you will need to change, but because you have done so much editing and revising on the previous assignments, you have less to do here at the end.
Make sure you complete a final edit and revision before turning in your final draft. This final draft shows everything that you have learned, both about the career and about writing. So make sure you finish this course strong and make this final draft great!
Let your instructor know your paper is complete.
Wait to hear back from your instructor
