Unit 4:
Research & Write
Job Description
Job Description
What does it mean to revise?
Revision literally means to “see again,” to look at something from a fresh, critical perspective. It is an ongoing process of rethinking the paper: reconsidering your arguments, reviewing your evidence, refining your purpose, re-organizing your presentation, reviving stale writing.
Revision is not something you only do once. This is another area of the writing process that you will go back to “Draft” and then “Revise” again. This back and forth could happen several times before you are ready to move on to the “Edit” and “Publish” steps.
