Emergency Closings/School Access
EMERGENCY CLOSINGS, DELAYED OPENINGS
Emergency school closings, delayed openings, or early closings due to weather events etc. will be announced through our automated phone system. PLEASE ensure that your contact information is ALWAYS up-to-date.
**New--Student Drop Off in the morning--NO students will be entering through the main entrance. All students MUST be dropped off at the auditorium entrance or gym lobby entrance. Only students who are late to school MUST enter through the main entrance to receive a late pass for class entry. Please review the map for bus only sections and parent pickups/drop offs.

SCHOOL ACCESS Students: All students may NOT enter the building until 7:30am.
Early Access is granted through supervised coverage in the following location beginning at 7am.
Students may enter the building from 7:00am – 7:30am at the Cafeteria Courtyard Entrance – Road between Gym and Pat’s Pizza
Students MUST remain in the Cafeteria until 7:30am.
AM Club Meetings and Make-up Tests
Students arriving before 7:30 for club meetings or to make up tests MUST enter at the Cafeteria Courtyard Entrance and Sign-in with the staff member on duty
After 7:40 all students arriving must enter at the main office and sign in.
After School Hours Building Access: (ACCESS IS ONLY PERMITTED FOR STUDENTS WITH SUPERVISED ACTIVITY)
The following doors will be unlocked from the Hours of: 2:15pm – 8:30pm Monday-Friday:
Gym Lobby
Entrance - Broadway & Courtyard Entrance, Auditorium Lobby – Courtyard Entrance.
Additional Doors will be Unlocked and Hours Extended for Special Events.
Saturday and Holiday Access Hours will be based on the schedule of athletics/special events.
All Learning Center/Detention students (both MS/HS) must exit through the main lobby doors. Detention dismissal is 3:10pm,
Learning Center dismissal is 4:25. Please be prompt in picking up your son/daughter.
Students who miss a bus after school will be held in the Learning Center room until parent arrives for pick-up.
Parents/Guardians:
All parents/guardians must enter through the main entrance, ring door bell, enter through security vestibule, and go directly to the main office. (NOTE: Parent/Guardian ID may be requested for early student dismissal.) Parents/guardians will be able to drop-off items in the security vestibule by placing the item on the table, labeled with the student's name. Once the item is inside the vestibule, a staff member will contact the student for pickup. This is a new update to help enhance the security at PMHS.
If you would like to schedule a meeting with any staff member, please contact the main office to organize a scheduled time.
In order to maintain the safety and security of the PMHS building, grounds, students, faculty, and staff; Students ARE NOT permitted to be in the building without supervision. Students found wandering in the building will be asked to leave. Failure to abide by this directive may result in disciplinary action up to and including trespassing charges.
