Faculty
Our committed faculty are experts in their subject areas, each holding a Bachelor's Degree, a California Teaching Credential, and several with a Master's Degree in their subject.
Many of Maidu's classes are Dual Enrollment courses where students may earn college units while completing their high school courses.
Contact any of our faculty with your questions or visit their teacher webpages for more details. To view detailed course syllabi for each of our course offerings, please click here.
COLLEGIATE & DE TEAM
Each of our collegiate teachers has a masters degree in their academic subject area and is also a Sierra College professor. Through their Dual Enrollment (DE) courses, students are able to earn free college credits while also earning their high school diploma.
Toni Amarel (Mathematics)
Thomas Fech (History/Social Science)
Kimberly Karver (English)
Laura Sellers (Spanish & RISE)
Elisheva "Ellie" Verdi (Science)
PERSONALIZED EDUCATION PROGRAM (PEP) TEAM
Each of our PEP teachers teaches a variety of courses to help their students complete their high school diplomas. Because each teacher also serves as an advisor for his/her students, PEP teachers teach all courses needed for each of their students to graduate from high school.
