Why is Maidu Virtual Charter Academy right for you?

At Maidu, we recognize that learning styles are as unique as individual personalities. As such, we strive to provide as many unique learning opportunities for our students. We have two distinct programs at our school, Collegiate/DE and Personalized Education Program (PEP) and an Early College Program launching in Fall 2025. DID YOU KNOW?

One of the many incredible aspects of our school is the flexibility you have to earn college credits while completing your high school diploma. Since its inception in 2018, we've had several students complete enough college courses and credits to have earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree (imagine all the college tuition they saved!). We've taken what these amazing students have accomplished and formalized it into an official Early College Program (ECP) with Sierra College set to launch in Fall 2025.

WHAT ARE MAIDU MEETUPS?

Learning in an online environment provides a ton of flexibility for students to pursue personal interests, passions, and work opportunities during the traditional school day. However, we at Maidu believe social interactions are crucial to developing teens, and as such, we organize and host a set of "meetups" throughout each school year for students to come together and experience a variety of fun events and get to know other students attending Maidu. Past events have included bowling, coffee shops, hikes, picnics, Rivercats game, and more! Have an idea for a Maidu Meetup? The only limit is your imagination! Tell your advisor today what you'd like to do for the next meetup!
