DESCRIPTION:  three sculpture and fountain installations in two gated courtyards of the LUCÉ Apartment complex:
  • Wintersburg/Furuta Fish Pond:  approx. 8-foot high by 18-inch wide by 6-inch deep  mosaic sculpture with gold fish images; approx. 4-foot high by 3-foot wide glass box sculpture with internal lighting; oblong sculptural pool
  • Replenish+Restore-Onyx:  approx. 8-foot wide by 20-foot long concrete pool/fountain containing large granite boulders and 3 submerged light boxes, and edged with stone and wood seating with 3 bench-mounted light boxes
  • Rain/Double Fall:  approx. 10-foot high by 18-inch by 18-inch stone tile and steel sculpture with internal lighting


Davis' ELEMENTS series of connected public artworks reflects local environmental conditions and minimal esthetics, as well as the area's local history and culture  - specifically, the 19th century Wintersburg Village, and the Furuta Family goldfish and flower farm.  Additonal detail on ELEMENTS:  Michael Davis

[NOTE:  These three  pool, fountain, and sculpture installations are located in LUCÉ courtyards 2 and 3, and signs are posted at the complex's north and east access gates stating that the installations are "open dawn to dusk."]
