The new PSC Executive Team
Prem has an active and enthusiastic parent community. Many voluntarymembers of this community make up our Parent School Community (PSC). The PSC, as it is best known, provides support to the whole Prem community. Our PSC Ambassador Representatives look after all grade levels and our cultural groups. The PSC aims to build a healthy, strong, and trusting relationship with the school administration, faculty, fellow parents, and students in addition to the wider Chiang Mai Community.

Next PSC Meeting: Breakfast Potluck, Boarding Lounge, 8:15 A.M, Tuesday, 1 October 2024.
The new PSC executive team is looking forward to helping parents get connected in our Prem community and finding ways parents can be a resource to the school and students. The next PSC meeting will provide an opportunity for parents to enjoy a casual potluck while breaking into groups to assist our principals by offering feedback on Junior School and Senior School matters, as well as upcoming activities.
Come and add your strength to the Prem community!
PSC meetings are held from 8.15am on the first *Tuesday of every month and all Parents/Guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend. Each meeting will have a specific theme, but expect updates from different divisions across the school and a chance to talk about relevant topics with other PSC members, members of the Senior Leadership Team and other key members of the community.
*Date may change due to Thai public holidays and school timetable.

Feedback
Do you know the number one factor affecting student success? Parent involvement. When parents get involved, children do better in school and life. When parents get involved, the quality of education improves. Regardless of socioeconomic status, cultural upbring or parents’ educational background; being involved in your child’s education makes a profound difference.
At Prem, parent involvement is a key focus and one of our greatest strengths. The more you engage with the Prem community, the more fulfilling your experience here will be. Whether you are cheering on our Panthers in sporting events, reading stories during Mother Tongue Day, participating in or running workshops, or running a stall at our events – big or small time commitment, there is a place for you. On behalf of the PSC, I am excited to welcome you to Prem. We are so glad you are here and look forward to meeting your family. Prem is far more than an International School; we are a Community!
Home - School Partnerships
Home-school partnerships form a vital part of a Prem education because students learn most effectively when home school partnerships are healthy and strong.
Parents are children’s first educators and they form a vital part of a child’s learning experience.
A robust Home - School Partnership has many benefits:
Improves academic achievement
Improves behaviour
Improves communication
Improves overall wellbeing
Improves cultural understanding
Develops a shared school ethos and culture
Fosters trusting relationships
Raises aspirations
Reduces absenteeism
Benefits the wider community
