Families @ Pt England or The Home - School Partnership is one of the major methods of communication, consultation and reporting that we have with our school community. This partnership has been running very successfully for more than 15 years at Pt England. We meet twice a term on a Wednesday evening at 6.00 p.m. in the school hall. We discuss the things that are important to us as a school and as parents, we have a lot of fun together and we learn a lot about each other, our children and our role as parents.

We meet together at the beginning of each meeting and come together again for the conclusion at the end. In between we break up into 7 language groups for discussion. These groups are:

• Maori

• Samoan

• Tongan

• Niuean

• Cook Island

• European

• Asia - Pacific

Each of these groups has a parent leader and a teacher liaison.

Childcare is provided each evening.
