Wind Ensemble Supply List

The Wind Ensemble is an auditioned group, open to all 9th-12th grade students in the Timnath band program. We perform 4-5 concerts each year, and participate in 2-3 festivals as well. We are the 'flagship' of the Timnath bands, and will perform music of a high level of artistry and difficulty. 

11th and 12th grade students are able to take the class for FRCC credit. Up to 4 semesters of credit is available. 

The group has been invited to perform at the legendary Carnegie Hall in the Symphonic Series Festival, hosted by Manhattan Concert Productions.  The trip will be Friday, March 15 through Tuesday, March 18. Our performance will be on Monday, March 17.  For more information, click HERE.

Each year the group gives 4 school concerts, performs at graduation, and plays in the Rocky Mountain Concert Festival each November, and the CBA Regional Concert Band Festival each March.

Auditions for the Wind Ensemble occur in April/May. Incoming students, if you are interested in participating in this group, please email Mr. Petersen at cpeterse@psdschools.org to make arrangements.
