Laura Klima

Laura Klima is a 2nd grade teacher at Grand Prairie Elementary School. She has been a teacher in Plainfield School District since 2000. Previous positions included 6th grade Mathematics, Social Science, and Language Arts, K-5 Reading Specialist, Reading Recovery, and 5th grade Teacher.  

Laura earned a BS in Elementary Education, and a Masters in Teaching and Learning, Reading Concentration from University of St. Francis. She also holds a 5-8 Mathematics Endorsement, 5- 8 Social Science Endorsement, K-12 Reading Specialist Certification, Reading Recovery, SIOP, and Differentiation trainings. 

Laura enjoys learning new tech tips, and is passionate about helping other teachers to incorporate technology for student learning.
