Becky Young

Becky Young is the Learning Specialist at Aux Sable Middle School.  She supports all schools in District 202 as the Lead Instructional Technology Coach.  She is an ISTE Certified Educator and a Google Certified Educator, Trainer, and Coach.

Prior to 2021, Becky was a science educator at PEHS and PCHS (2009-2021). She earned a B.S. in Chemistry and Environmental Science from Bradley University in 2005 and a M.A. in Environmental Studies from University of Illinois - Springfield in 2007. Before entering the education world, she was an environmental specialist in the Chicago area. 

Becky is also a Formative Certified Educator, Wakelet Community Leader, Level 2 Adobe Creative Educator, Mote Certified Educator and Ambassador, Book Creator Certified Author, and Nearpod Certified Educator.  Becky has been fortunate to share ideas and experiences throughout District 202, at ISTELive 23 and 24, IDEAcon, IETC, the STEAM and Space Education Virtual Conference, Don Johnston, Inc. (as part of their webinar series), TWTCon, and EdChange Global, a Dell/EdSurge webinar, and has been a guest on “The Suite Talk.”  She also loves to learn with and from her PLN on BlueSky.
