Students working on their short game.
We made different types of bush pies over the fire for breakfast.
Thunder and lightning moved our learning indoors for a short time. We learned about tree rings, local wild-life, and wild-life safety.
Students made their own supper over the fire!
Students learned about the traditional gender roles of the Indigenous people of the area, how they made the tools required to survive, and how they lived with the land. (PS - Women owned everything.)
The Grade 8/9 students tested the water in Loch Leven for pH, oxygen content, nitrogen levels, and turbidity.
Using a model students learned how pollutants and excess fertilizers can get into our waterways.
