The Grade 4/5 students built a sustainable Indigenous Education Garden in front of the Ralston School sign. This student led project will be maintained by students in Grade 4/5 each school year.

National Truth and Reconciliation Day- September 30
This day acknowledges that residential schools are a part of our history. Wearing an orange shirt is a national movement to recognize the experience of those who went to Indian residential schools, to honour them, and show a collective commitment to ensure that Every Child Matters.

The Grade 4/5 students fed and cared for composting worms in the classroom. They learned about the life cycle, diet, reproduction process and function of composting worms in our environment.

The Grade 4/5s are responsible for all of the recycling at Ralston School. The students take turns each week and collect every classroom's recycling and as a class we walk the collection to the recycling bins and dispose of it properly.
