MEET THE COACHES
Coach Charlie Rosa has been coaching for over 25 years and is the new Head Coach at Lincoln High School. For the past 3 years he was the Head Varsity Volleyball coach at Union High School in Vancouver Washington. Prior to coaching at Union Charlie coached at Central Catholic High School for 15 years. He has also coached for CYO, at Rose City Volleyball Club and he was the Co-Club Director and a coach at Live Aloha Volleyball Academy. Charlie coaches club volleyball at Athena Volleyball Academy and is the Facilities Manager for the Olympus Sports Center in Hillsboro Oregon.
Charlie loves the game and is fortunate to be surrounded by family that also loves volleyball. His Father-in-law Tom Becic was the founder and first commissioner of CEVA. His wife Anne-Marie won 2 state titles at St. Mary’s Academy High School and played at Carrol College in Montana as a setter. His oldest daughter Kealia was a four-year varsity setter at Central Catholic high school; her senior year she was player of the year for the Mt Hood Conference. Kealia set at Warner Pacific University, where she has the school record for assists. She is currently the Head Coach at Central Catholic High School and coaches for Athena Volleyball Academy. His youngest daughter Kealani sets at Western Oregon University, she was a four-year varsity setter at Central Catholic High School and like her sister, as a senior she was the Mt Hood conference player of the year. Kaiao Nahale-a, Charlie's son-in-law, is the Head Coach at Western Oregon University in Monmouth Oregon, and he coaches at Athena Volleyball Academy.
Coach Bella Crepeaux was born and raised in none other than Portland, Oregon, and is a proud Lincoln alumni! She graduated in 2017, playing volleyball for Lincoln as a DS/L all four years as well as the MAC club and Blues VBC. Her senior year at Lincoln, the Varsity team was able to bring home the PIL championship, and she’s hoping to help these athletes have the same experience.
It is Coach Bella’s first year as a coach. With a big emphasis on the mental game, as well as a positive team dynamic, she is excited to help these athletes grow as players and as people. Go Cards!
Coach Colton Wright, originally from San Jose, CA, has been immersed in volleyball since 2004 in middle school, evolving from a player to a passionate coach. His competitive journey spans indoor, sand, and grass, achieving notable rankings in all three as an adult. While he continues to play, he has found a deep passion in coaching.
With a coaching philosophy centered on technical precision and fostering growth, Colton emphasizes creating an environment where athletes can build confidence, resilience, and camaraderie. In just six years, he has made a significant impact, helping players from beginners to early professionals. His recent roles include Athena Volleyball, Ajax Volleyball, training elite athletes with No EZ Buckets, and coaching at Lakeridge High School. Colton is eager to inspire the next generation of players and is looking forward to a great season with the Lincoln Cardinals family!
Coach Kelsey Jorgensen has been coaching for 5 years. She has coached for Axiom Volleyball Club, Parkrose High School, St. Mary’s Academy High School and Blues Volleyball Club. She is a Parkrose High School alumni and went to Blue Mountain Community College where she was MVP of her sophomore season.
Kelsey has four kids who all share her same love of sports. Her oldest daughter played volleyball through high school and now attends school at Portland State. Her oldest son is a junior in highschool and a multi-sport athlete. Her youngest daughter lives and breathes volleyball and has played club for the past 3 years and her youngest son is another multi-sport athlete most recently winning a state championship in 7on7 football. Kelsey enjoys attending all their games with her fiancé and stays very busy between all their sports schedules.
