All Tryouts at Lincoln Mike Walsh Stadium Turf.
Attendance at tryouts is HIGHLY recommended. All forms and clearance items need to be submitted prior to participation being allowed.
Varsity Head Coach: Brandon McNeil
Since Brandon’s arrival the Varsity has a 47-15-9 Record, 188 Goals For, 62 Goals Against and 29 Shutouts. 2024 PIL Player of the Year (Merlin Danzmayr), 2021 & 2022 2x (Gunder Miller) and 2023 PIL Coach Of The Year! College commitments include Pablo Guevara (Feather River College), Gunder Miller (UMBC), Raf Westlund (U Chicago), Riler Selman (Emerson), Zack Andoh (Cal Berkeley), Alex Rhodes (Puget Sound), Hugo Guevara (College of Idaho).
2025 Fall season was one for the books (12-3-3 Overall Record, 5-1-1 PIL Record). Scoring a program record 51 Goals For with 8 Shutouts! OSAA Post season saw a 3-1 Win vs Lake Oswego, 2-1 Win vs Cleveland and ultimately a 1-1 (4-5 PK) Loss to West Linn in the Quarter Finals. Portland Interscholastic Player Of The Year, Merlin Danzmayr, PIL First Team, OSAA All-State Second Team. Joining Merlin with OSAA All-State Third Team honors was Hersom Regalado. 2025 Record across JV2 (White & Red), JV and Varsity was 42 Wins, 5 Losses and 8 Ties. Future is bright...
Brandon holds his USSF National “A” license, USSF Talent ID Scouting license, USSF National Youth license, and is a former US Youth National Team player. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer for United PDX Soccer Club and a Talent ID Scout for US Soccer Youth National Teams. Prior Brandon was an Assistant Coach for the University Of Portland (8 Years).
In 2007, Brandon was the Head Coach for the Lincoln Girls Soccer team where he lead the team to the state title with a perfect 18-0 season and OSAA 6A Coach of the Year.
That Spring McNeil transitioned to a Division 1 Assistant Coach at the University of Portland (2008-2016) with the Men’s & Women’s Programs. During his time recruiting / coaching at UofP he was central in recruiting and transitioning multiple players to the professional ranks. Prior to transitioning to D1 Assistant Coaching Brandon had a 10-year stint coaching for FC Portland Academy. McNeil joined Northeast United Soccer Club (NEU) as the Director of Coaching in January of 2014. He was instrumental in the merger of Bridlemile Soccer Club and NEU to create United PDX in 2018.
