Five high quality reproductions or physical works will be sent into the AP Board in May for assessment. These pieces should be your highest quality, completely original (imagined or drawn from your own photos), and thought provoking. The selected works can also be included the Sustained Investigation category, but does not have to.
Each work must be accompanied by the following information.
Idea(s) visually evident (100 characters max).
Materials used (100 characters max).
Processes used (100 characters max).
You will submit 15 digital images of art and process that demonstrated a sustained investigation through practice, experimentation and revision. These images can be of your first sketches, in-progress work, failed attempts, and anything else that shows your artistic process.
Each work must be accompanied by the following information.

Process(es) used (100 characters max).
Size (height x width x depth, in inches)
Images that show process or detail should have N/A put in the size.
Identify the questions that guided your sustained investigation.
This could be questions about process and materials or the visual ideas your work represents.
Explain how your sustained investigation show evidence of practice, experimentation, and revision.
1200 characters (including spaces) max. for both prompts.
Complete the Goals Packet and Trite Artwork worksheet (linked below).
Set Up AP Portfolio on the AP website. Pay the AP fee. Financial assistance is available.
Begin experimentation with materials or ideas.
Complete 3 works by the end of 1st Term (Nov. 1st).
Post to AP portfolio with accompanied information discussed above.
Complete 3 more works by the end of 2nd Term (Jan. 17th).
If you are in an art classes 2nd semester, you will continue to finish out your portfolio. If you are not in a class, you will have to work on it during AA or outside of school.
Finalize portfolio, artist statements, photography work, and ready selected works for submission.
