Portsmouth High School employs a hybrid A/B Block and "All Meet" schedule that utilizes a total of eight periods.  The default, five-day schedule is anchored to the days of the week with all classes meeting on Mondays followed by alternating, "Even" and "Odd" block period days.  It is our belief that extended learning periods are more conducive to student-centered learning, authentic assessment and greater depth of understanding.
