Panopto's Use of Browser Cookies

******PLEASE NOTE******

Internet Browsers update on a fairly regular basis and with this being a third party, is out of our control. If immediate usage is required, please use an alternative browser, such as Mozilla Firefox, or follow the guidance below if you are experiencing problems. Don't hesitate to contact eLearn@port.ac.uk if problems persist.

Online Guide

Panopto utilizes third-party cookies to authenticate third-party identity providers and requires that your browser accept third-party cookies.

If you receive any errors in Moodle or are prompted to log in again, you will need to turn on third party cookies in your browser.

A pre-requisite to viewing a video in Panopto is the user having viewer access to that video. If it appears you do not have this viewing access, it may be down to where the video has been embedded or shared from rather than an issue with the user attempting to view. For any questions regarding the location of a video in Panopto, please contact eLearn@port.ac.uk
