Session 1: What are the Beatitudes? What do we already know?
Create a mind map as a class.
What is a value?
What do we mean when we say attitude?
Create a DLO showing a list or mind map of your own values and attitudes.
Session 2: What were Jesus' values and attitudes? How do we know this? Create a DLO to share this.
Session 3: Read this scripture from the Holy Gospel of Matthew 5:1-12.
Create a poster/ DLO to share a minimum of 3 beatitudes, what these are and what they might look like in action. Beatitudes Explained This site may be helpful. Make sure to put it into your own words.
Session 4: Complete the Beatitudes Mix and Match task and glue it into your Faith Journal.

How Should your math session run?
Every 10 minutes you need to change tasks after completing your follow up activity.
Math Games
Choose one of the following math games to complete each day.

Log in to Khan academy and complete the tasks assigned to you about decimals.
Spend 10minutes each day using prodigy maths. Use a timer to make sure you don't stay on there for too long.
Session One: Math Measurement & Geometry Knowledge Check.
Complete the Knowledge check independently so that Whaea Danni can see where you are at and prepare for the rest of the term.
Session Two: Identifying different units of measurement.
What are the different units of measurement? Complete the follow up task on seesaw by identifying what you would measure with each unit.
Session Three: Converting units of measurement.
Complete the learning session with Whaea Danni and finish the worksheet in your math books. Choose the sheet that best suits your learning.
Session Four: Area & Perimeter
Go over the formula to calculate area and perimeter. Team relay to calculate area and perimeter questions!

Session One: Read along and highlight any new kupu or words you have heard before but do not know the meaning of.
Session Two: 5W's, unpack the text together. I have seen this when... looking at some of our new vocabulary think about when you have seen this in action and complete the task on seesaw.
Session Three: Links to Te Whare Tapa Wha. During inquiry you have been learning about Te Whare Tapa Wha. Make links between this article and the four pou by adding to the pou around the room.
Session Four: How did you feel? Get a copy of the person cut out from Whaea Danni. Inside the person write all of the different feelings you had when you were experiencing a situation where bullying was taking place. No one except for the teacher will read this. You may have been the person being bullied, you may have been the bully or maybe you were an onlooker.

Mothers day is this weekend. We will be creating mothers day cards or a piece of art to share with your mum, step mum, nana or aunty (significant woman). You must include this scripture in the middle of your card Proverbs 3:15 She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Choose from the following designs or come up with a design of your own.
