Northland is broken up into many small townships.
Our whenua used to be a lot bigger than what it is now but due to erosion and climate change our land area has shrunk.
Northland has shrunk by 150m on each side over the past 20,000 years due to weathering and erosion. Can you show this on your map?
Using the outline of Northland create a map showing all of the key towns in our area.
Extend yourself by finding out the population and land area of each township.
Glue this into your inquiry books and upload evidence to your journal.
