Hello! My name is Elizabeth Madden, and I am so excited to be the special education teacher in Mrs. Hannam's classroom this year!
I graduated from Providence College with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education, and I have been working in a school setting since 2022. Teaching has always been my passion, and I feel incredibly lucky to spend my days helping students grow—both academically and emotionally.
I’m especially excited to be teaching alongside Mrs. Hannam this year! I know our collaboration will make for a supportive, engaging, and fun classroom environment where every child can thrive.
I believe that every child is capable of amazing things when they feel supported, encouraged, and understood. I strive to create a warm, welcoming classroom where students feel safe to take risks, celebrate successes, and learn from challenges.
In addition to teaching, I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in School Counseling at Monmouth University. My goal is to continue growing as an educator so I can best support the needs of my students both inside and outside of the classroom.
I’m looking forward to a wonderful school year filled with learning, laughter, and growth!
