Ma’am Alice T. Boyucan is currently a Teacher II at San Francisco High School, where she has been teaching the English subject to junior high school students since 2019. She earned her Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in English, from Mary the Queen College of Quezon City. She taught at Imelda Operio’s Learning School, Inc., in Quezon City. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, reading, and farming.
Practice Teaching Supervisor
Dr. Joseph P. Erfe earned his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music from Santa Isabel College. He obtained his Master of Arts in English Language Arts and PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from PNU. He taught in St. Joseph's College of Q.C., Immaculate Heart of Mary College, and Santa Isabel College Conservatory of Music. He also worked in Bright House Publishing House as editor-in-chief. He has presented and published research articles cataloged in Asian Citation Index and Andrew Gonzales Citation Index. As a professional musician, he has also performed in CCP, Metropolitan Theater, Meralco Theater, Philamlife Auditorium, Paco Park Presents, and Concert at the Park as pianist, conductor, and baritone soloist. The piano composition "123456789101112" is dedicated and composed for him. He is currently a faculty member and research coordinator of the FGEEL-ITL.
English Department Head
Ma’am Cristina F. Abanador spent her 29 years at Juan Sumulong High School as Teacher 1, II, Master Teacher 1, and Head Teacher IV where she ranked no. 1 during the evaluation and screening in the Division of City Schools Quezon City. When she applied for Head Teacher VI at San Francisco High School, she also ranked number 1. She is also the editor, writer, and validator of different learning materials in English, Filipino, Journalism, and other subject areas in the division, regional and national. She received numerous awards such as: Quezon City’s Most Outstanding Teacher in all subject areas, Quezon City Philippines Most Outstanding School Paper Adviser, Quezon City’s Leadership Awardee, Gawad Primero awardee for module production, evaluation, and editing Outstanding LRMDS Implementer, and Most Resourceful Teacher, and recently received an Academic Excellence Awardee of the National Teachers College, for doctoral studies. She is currently the Vice President of Quezon City Secondary Heads of English Association and Head Teacher VI-English at San Francisco High School.
