2.1.1 Demonstrate knowledge of policies, guidelines and procedures that provide safe and secure learning environments.
My evidence for criteria 2.1.1 of Domain 2 is the sample classroom I made for one of the activities in our Field Study module because the set up of my classroom complies with DepEd Order No. 72 s. 2012 Continuing Fire Safety and Awareness Program. This order mandates purchasing firefighting equipment or fire extinguishers that comply with the ISO 9001-2008 series.
2.2.1 Demonstrate understanding of learning environments that promote fairness, respect and care to encourage learning.
My evidence for criteria 2.2.1 of Domain 2 is the paper in which the group leaders wrote the names of their group members and put an “x” mark next to the name of their classmate who did not contribute to the activity. Also, I gave a 2-point deduction to the groups who presented their commercial the following day to be fair to the groups who were able to present their commercial on time.
2.3.1 Demonstrate knowledge of managing classroom structure that engages learners, individually or in groups, in meaningful exploration, discovery and hands-on activities within the available physical learning environments.
My evidence for criteria 2.3.1 of Domain 2 includes the changing of the seating arrangements of the students depending on the discussion and the type of activities that will be done by the students during the discussion.
2.4.1 Demonstrate understanding of supportive learning environments that nurture and inspire learner participation.
My evidence for criteria 2.4.1 of Domain 2 includes a video clip of when I asked the students to clap for their classmate who recited during the discussion to encourage him to participate more because he usually does not recite, and Sir Ardy Agacite’s comment during my grand demonstration teaching.
2.5.1 Demonstrate knowledge of learning environments that motivate learners to work productively by assuming responsibility for their own learning
My evidence for criteria 2.5.1 of Domain 2 is that in certain activities, I give the students the freedom to choose their group mates and who will lead their group. Also, I give them time to plan and discuss with their group mates.
2.6.1 Demonstrate knowledge of positive and non-violent discipline in the management of learner behavior.
My evidence for criteria 2.6.1 of Domain 2 is a video clip of when I used both verbal and non-verbal communication to manage the noise the students were making during the discussion.
