My evidence for criteria 1.1.1 of Domain 1 are the comments that I received from my PT supervisor, Dr. Joseph Erfe, and Master Teacher I, Sir Ardy Agacite, during my grand demonstration teaching.
My evidence for criteria 1.2.1 of Domain 1 includes activating my students’ prior knowledge about the lesson in the motivational activity for Lesson 3 of Quarter 3 and Lesson 2 for Quarter 4, and gamifying my discussion during my grand demonstration teaching through a point and reward system.
My evidence for criteria 1.3.1 of Domain 1 includes using PowerPoint presentations to discuss the lesson, using Jamboard during the discussion of Lesson 1 of Quarter 4, and using Google Forms to conduct a quiz during online class.
My evidence for criteria 1.4.1 of Domain 1 includes adding vocabulary words and unlocking the meaning of the difficult words the students will encounter during the lesson through an activity, conducting activities that develop the writing skills of the students, such as completing a story map and writing a two-sentence description about a given picture using sensory images, and asking the students to read aloud definitions, paragraphs, and other texts during the discussion.
My evidence for criteria 1.5.1 of Domain 1 includes the motivational activity for Lesson 3 of Quarter 3, where the students analyzed and explained the picture given to their group, and one of the group tasks for Lesson 2 of Quarter 3, where the students identified the sensory images used in a paragraph. Also, the comment I received from my cooperating teacher, Ma’am Alice T. Boyucan during my grand demonstration teaching.
My evidence for criteria 1.6.1 of Domain 1 is when I switched from English to Filipino during my discussion of the theme of the story to help the students understand it better.
1.7.1 Demonstrate an understanding of the range of verbal and nonverbal classroom strategies that support learner understanding, participation, engagement and achievement.
My evidence for criteria 1.7.1 of Domain 1 includes the verbal praise I gave the students and asking them to clap for themselves as a way to recognize their achievement of being able to answer all of the comprehension questions, as well as the recitation chips I gave to the students.
