Nursing students, campus departments, and other donors in the community come together for this wonderful service project by pledging and donating complete Thanksgiving dinners for families who would otherwise go without a meal on this special holiday. Each basket contains the basics for a Thanksgiving dinner, such as a turkey, dressing, gravy, vegetables, cranberry sauce, rolls, and pies. Baskets may also contain additional items to use after the holiday, such as oven mitts, coloring books, and crayons for children.
