Hello All! I am a senior 1, I am 23 years old from Des Moines, Iowa. A little bit about myself, I am hispanic/latino, from Mexican Descent. I am bilingual in english, Spanish and can only get so far in french. I am a military spouse and have been for 3 years. My husband and I are fairly new to Washington but have pretty much visited all over the country. My passion is traveling, I will never turn down an opportunity to get on a plane and experience any part of the world! My hobbies include video gaming, volleyball, soccer, fishing, paddleboarding, baking. My greatest joys are my dogs, i'm a huge dog lover (green flag), I have a husky and a Pomeranian who i’d be more than happy to show photos of. Hi everyone! I am a senior 1, I’m 22, and I am from Olympia! I spent 11 years as a gymnast, which is what ultimately brought me into healthcare. I love to bike, swim, lift weights, and go on walks when it’s nice outside. I also love to play pickleball with my family and I get super competitive doing so! I enjoy going to concerts and listening to music in general, although I’ll be the first to admit my taste in music is super generic :) In my downtime, especially during school, I like to relax and watch crime shows. I want to eventually work in critical care because the complexity of it has always fascinated me! I also will never turn down an opportunity to show pictures of my cat!!

Hi friends! I’m a Junior II filipina student from Bothell, WA :) As far as healthcare goes, I have some background experience working as a CNA in assisted living, memory care and rehabilitation settings. Aside from nursing I enjoy crocheting, collecting frog stuff, and going to concerts. I also do vocal freelance work and songwriting on the side.

Hi everyone! I am a senior 1 student from Edmonds, WA and I am so excited for this year! I have always loved people and I’ve known I wanted to be a nurse since I was 12 years old. I have a passion for working with kiddos and look forward to pursuing PEDs or L&D nursing after graduation. Outside of school I am an avid swimmer, concert-goer and crafter. I also love to read and I’m always down for some good recommendations! I can’t wait to share our awesome events with you all and do great things for our community together!

Hello PLU SoN students and affiliates. I graduated from the program last Spring and am taking advantage of the PLUS year to continue my education. I'm currently finishing my studies in Religion and Native American & Indigenous Studies, as well as my Peace Corp Prep Certification. I hope to use my degrees as preparation for my PhD in Clinical Nursing Research with an emphasis on Indigenous community health and medical anthropology.
