Delta Iota Chi Giving Tree
This year Delta spread holiday joy by donating all items under our Garfield building tree to Shades of Divinity. Shades of Divinity is an amazing organization that works to promote reproductive justice and support BIPOC families in Pierce County.
Use the link HERE to access a detailed list of gifts and pantry items needed by the organization year-round.
Opening Minds Through Art
Become a trained volunteer, paired with a person with dementia or other cognitive challenges and create works of art in this six week program.
This is the only program like this in the State of Washington!
This program is being lead by Sarah Dellicker from the ABSN program in Lynnwood. Volunteers are needed, so reach out to delta@plu.edu if interested!
This Facebook group will allow upperclassmen to pass down their nursing textbooks to incoming or current nursing students. This is not run by Delta but is a great resource to check out!

The snacks and study event was started by a group of nursing students who wanted a place to study for their finals on Saturdays since the library is closed. This is an opportunity for all PLU nursing students to come together and study in Xavier 201 on a Saturday before finals week. Snacks would be provided. This is a great chance to connect with other nursing students from other cohorts and learn from and study with each other.
