Gateway Community College - www.gatewayct.edu To be eligible for an Associate in Science degree in the Aviation Maintenance program, a student must successfully complete a Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) approved Airframe and Power plant Mechanics program and have an active license. Thirty credits will be granted to individuals who have an active FAA license. In addition, 32 credits of college instruction must be completed for the Associate in Science degree. Graduates from this program may obtain employment as mechanics at airports, and technicians with aircraft and power plant companies, or they may continue their education toward a B.S. degree in the industrial and manufacturing fields.

CFA Floral Design School - Currently Connecticut's only florist trade school, open to both the general public and the trade.
